Bateman Books is the new name for David Bateman Publishing
A well-established independent New Zealand-owned book publishing company established in 1981 as David Bateman Limited, changed it’s name in 2013 and needed a new brand.
The Bateman Books logo is smart, elegant and visually clever. It is friendly and dependable too, inspiring confidence and maintaining the reliability and trustworthiness they are known for.
An open book turned sideways creates two ‘Bs’ which make up the icon of the logo. The first ‘B’ is the ‘book’ and the negative space between the lettering and the ‘book’ form the shape of the second ‘B’. For Bateman Books.
